Brian and Valerie Dow have lived at South Lasts Farm since they married in 1985. South Lasts Farm is where they raised their three children.
After farming livestock, potatoes, and other crops his whole career, in 2019, Brian embarked on building a pond at the farm. After lots of hard work, two years later, Brian completed the pond development now named “Waterside”.
Located in Milltimber, Aberdeen, Waterside is now a beautiful and tranquil spot finished with a trickling waterfall, impressive white bridge and staircase and an island full of trees with a bench for relaxing. This event venue is surrounded by trees and crop fields and has a grass plateau, making it the perfect spot for a marquee.
After the grand opening in July 2021 for their daughter’s wedding, Brian and Valerie are now ready to welcome others to use the site, whether for a wedding or corporate event. It is a blank canvas for setting up your own dream event!
